My Bro...My sis.... The healthiest!

It's common these days that students travel across cities, states and even countries for education. The world is indeed shrinking. So, is your brother or sister or child leaving for higher education? And you are worried about his/her health and food intake; especially because he/she has always been far far away from kitchen area. Perhaps, the only thing they could ever cook was a cup of tea.

No worried. We have a gift-idea which would reduce some of your anxieties. The idea is not something sexy... instead, it's a very practical kitchen tool - Rice Cooker.
Brother Sister Gift Idea

It's very easy to cook rice in this piece of wonder. The modern models even have timer and temperature options. They can even keep rice warm safety up to about 24 hours. They can even be used to cook full meals if rice is mixed with vegetables or lentils. It's hard to go wrong with this convenient kitchen-gadget.

A gift should not just be an expensive piece of show-piece bought from some mall. It should be highly usable and practicle, especially when it concerns someone very close to you.

So, cheer up and bid bbye to your loved one going away for studies. We are sure this rice cooker will help them stay healthy.

Cheers

Walk a little slower, Daddy

Gift Idea for Father
“Walk a little slower, Daddy”,
Said a little child so small.
“I’m following in your footsteps,
And I don’t want to fall.

Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they’re hard to see;
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.

Someday when I’m all grown up,
You’re what I want to be;
Then I will have a little child
Who’ll want to follow me.

And I would want to lead just right,
And know that I was true;
So, walk a little slower, Daddy,
For I must follow you.”
~Author unknown

We all grew up wanting to be like our dad. We loved everything about him. How he drove the car. How he walked. How he talked. How he laughed. How he kissed us goodnight. How he carried us in their arms when we cried. How he used to lift us in air and we used to have butterflies in stomach.... and more.

Remember, he never gave an excuse of short-time when you wanted him to be there for you. Do you really think you are so busy that you can't take off a few days just to be with your superhero? Nah! There would never be anything which could fully explain how much he means to you, except spending some quality time with him. After all, that's what parents seek; their children's time.

So, this time on your father's birthday if you want to gift him something, don't gift him some 'thing'. Gift him your time. Take him on a vacation with you.

You can go on a long drive, and go fishing. Or you can go to nearby waterfall for a picnic with him and mom. Or if you have some more time, take him on a tour for a week or so. You can go to some neighboring city or perhaps even another country as your pocket allows. The place doesn't matter so much. What matters more is the two people here. You and your dad!

Pack your bags with clothes, ready-to-eat food, sneakers, hats, camera and fly away. It's time for fun again.

Hug you goodnight...everynight

If I could fly, I would be hugging you goodnight...every night...

Ever seen a dad's face light up when his daughter, who is married and settled in another country, calls up on phone? Ever seen a wife's smile when her husband, who has gone away for a business trip, takes out time just to video-chat with her?

It's so common these days that people travel across countries, and sometimes they settle down in far away places too. There could be many reasons for that: a wish for a different lifestyle, fascination with that place's culture, business, livelihood etc. But, whatever be the reason, one thing is sure.... it causes lots of heartaches to a lot of sweet people. Damn!

Earlier phone was the only way to keep in touch with our loved ones who are living miles apart. Then, came the internet, email facilities, video conferencing etc. And the latest is the buzz about online shopping. There are some great online solutions which form wondrous gift ideas. One of our favorites is the online photo-printing shops.
Gift idea for loved ones
All you have to do is:
1. Logon to the photo-printing shop
2. Upload the photographs
3. Add them to cart, and order a print.
4. Specify the address

And guess what, the fourth step does the magic. You might be sitting in a corner of an Asian country, but you can send your child's picture in print to your parents living in Seattle. Now, howz that?

Another great thing about these online photo-printing shops is that, not only can you print photos on regular paper-cards, you can also order for print on T-shirts, Mugs, Canvas, Calendar, Bags etc. Imagine, sending a photo t-shirt to your brother in France with just a click, or sending a Calendar to your best friend with pics of both of you.

And with growing competition in the field, prices are dropping fast. So, that's good news for customers like you and me.

So, what are you waiting for? Go on.... touch the lives of your loved ones in distant land.

MAG Says:

Hello Jen,
How are the preparations for birthday celebrations going on? While you must have been busy arranging stuff for the special day, we got busy generating ideas for you.

Your husband seems to love the latest in technologies. We think he would love a gift which fulfils his need to have something techie but has a great utility as well. After giving much thought to his personality, we came up with following ideas:

1. Solar charger - These chargers would be a great utility for your man when is on the move. No matter where he is traveling, he would have his cell-phone/iPod/GPS/etc charged in a Jiffy.

2. Car Subwoofers - We are sure both of you would love the music when you have great subwoofers in your car, and you are going on a long drive. Ah! Romance is something you just can’t get enough.

3. Driving Shades/Goggles - Shades form a perfect gift for an outdoor kind of person. We recommend buying shades with Polaroid lenses that totally cut off the glare and have UV protection. They come in various attractive designs and styles.

4. Microsoft Flight Simulator Game - If he is a gaming fanatic you can consider gifting him Microsoft’s flight simulator gift. It comes for PCs as well as gaming consoles like Xbox. You can club this with other games like Project Gothman Racing 4, Call of Duty – World at War, FIFA 2009 etc

5. Bluetooth Headset - Go for a high quality headset with noise-reduction features. They will look good on your man, as well as provide a great utility.

6. Cell Phone: Go for the some fun phones like iPhone 3g, Nokia E71 or some smart-phones. You should get them for a reasonable price if you buy them with a 1 or 2 years contract with service providers like AT&T, T-mobiles etc.

We hope we were able to help you. Let us know if you liked any idea or if you would like to discuss further.

Madly yours,
MAG Team
