I dont like saying Goodbyes

You and I will meet again,
When we're least expecting it,
One day in some far off place,
I will recognize your face,
I won't say goodbye my friend,
For you and I will meet again.

It's always tough to say "Goodbyes". But some farewells are harder than the others. Do you remember saying goodbye to your favorite teacher when he/she retired? And do you remember saying goodbye to your best friend when his/her father got transferred to a different city?

Nothing can reduce the pain we feel when we bid adieu to someone so close. But, a heartfelt gift can assure that we bring a smile to your dear friend's face even at that tough moment. So, next time you are departing with a friend, present him/her with a very special gift.

If you know about this departure in advance, then select some favorite photographs of both of you and other friends in your group. Try to select twenty photographs or more, and get them printed in your desired size. Compile those photographs chronologically in a beautiful photo album.
Gift idea for Friend's farewell Gift Idea for Friends
Even after many years, if you guys don't get a chance to meet... and someday, your friend discovers the photo album from his/her cupboard again... we promise that he/she would remember you with a smile on face and a resolution to meet you again.

Generation Z

There was a time when being called 'A Generation-X kid' seemed thirst-quenching to us. There was something maverick about belonging to that group. But time flew by, and today Gen-Z is surpassing many limits which Gen-x could never even imagine. It's correctly said, that which seems the height of absurdity in one generation often becomes the height of wisdom in another. Somehow, the generation gap keeps widening.

As a result, just the idea of gifting something to your college going niece or nephew leaves you dumbstruck.

"Would they appreciate books... Nah, they would think I'm the typical boring Aunt/uncle. "

"Would they appreciate apparel.....Nopes, they would call our choices outdated."

To gift something to this generation, you need to think in their terms. How do they see the world? Research a little about your niece or nephew's interests. Whether they are interested in sports, computers, fashion, music, movies etc. And once you hit the jackpot, arrange for an yearly subscription of a Magazine associated with that field.

The Gen-Z kid would love to keep herself/himself updated with the latest in their beloved field.

But keep in mind, that the magazine and its content is something of their taste, and age level. If it is too simplistic they will get bored quickly. If it is too heavy, then it would stay in shelf forever.

Wish you happy connection with the Kool Kids.

What do great bosses do?

Work is more fun when there is a strong bond between the team. When so many brains work collaboratively, success is bound to happen. Are you one of those team leaders or project leaders who have just accomplished a project with the help of his or her team. You are proud of their work, and you think just one project party is not enough (If you think so, then we must say - You are a great Boss... Bravo)

So what would this great Boss do now? You need a unique gift idea to show your appreciation to your team? And MAG team has something just for you.

Today's business is mostly global, and more often than not, the projects are associated with some foreign country. So, give your team a souvenir which is a tiny replica of a landmark from that foreign country. For example,

If you've just completed a project for a French client, give a mini Eiffel tower to each member of your team. Or if the client was from USA, then give a poster of SFO bridge.

They can keep it in their cubicles. And the tiny replica will always remind them of the fun you all had and what you all are capable of accomplishing.
Wish you team members all the success

Aloha to new life!

Life is special. And, even more special is the celebration of new life. Isn’t it? The little faces, tiny fists and miniature feet can win over anyone’s heart.
But as the baby shower’s day comes nearer, you are left clueless. You are all excited to take the little bundle of joy in your arms and bless him/her. Yet, you are worried about getting a special gift for this special friend?

No worries. We have a perfect gift idea for a baby shower. It should be a gift which can not only be used right now, but for a long time to come. We suggest a Tupperware Kid Kit (Baby feeding bottle + warmer).

And the reasons are:

1. Tupperware is a renowned company with quality products. Also, it has a good brand positioning. So, how does this help? On seeing a Tupperware gift, your friend/relative would know that you care for them and wanna give them the best.

2. The kit has some great utilities for feeding the child. The mother would be using this product for at least 1 or 2 years to come. Hence, they are good value for money.

3. The bottles and tumblers are leak-proof. Hence, they are in sync with hygienic conditions which are necessary for a new born.

4. They come in wonderful color combinations
The only downside could be that they may seem a little expensive than general gifts. But, we believe this extra cost pays off, as they last much longer and provide great utility. To repeat our words, they are value for money.

So, grab this gift for baby shower celebrations, and rush to your near and dear one’s place. And don’t forget to pass our love to the newborn. New Life is indeed special.

It's Business, Baby

Recession is the buzz word these days. People love to talk about it all the time. Somehow knowing that other people are in the same boat helps keeping the spirits high. But knowing is not enough. You need to take a step ahead if you wanna stay in business.

The first thing you can do is to streamline your processes and decrease your inefficiencies. But, we all know, Business takes a little more than streamlined processes. Let's be practical about it. You need to keep your client happy. Personal relations do matter.

So, what do you gift to your client as a token of your appreciation for the business opportunities he/she is giving you? The gift should be pleasing, yet not screaming "Gimme more business, Gimme more business..." kinds.

We suggest:

1. If your client's contact person is a lady, send her a box/basket of cookies.

2. If the contact person is a guy, consider sending a bottle of nice wine. It can be red or white or perhaps both if you are feeling too generous ;-)

3. Liquor chocolates also form a great gift.

And yea, don't forget to send along a note of appreciation and how much you value their association.

Wish you tons of Business coming up

Play Safe

Many people zero down to a Gift-Idea of perfume, but do not know how to go ahead. And they have valid reasons for this confusion. Firstly, it's a democratic world we live in. We can choose to be as confused as we wanna be. And secondly, different people have different choices, and different perfumes smell different on different people.

So, what do you do? Stop gifting perfumes totally? Maybe, yes. Or, hold on. You can play safe. We researched quite a few perfumes, and we selected "CK One" as a Safe Choice.

For the lovers of technicalities, the notes of this perfume are:
1. Top Notes: Bergamot, Cardamom, Fresh Pineapple, Papaya., Green tree accord
2. Mid Notes: Hedione High Cis (derived from Jasmine), Violet, Rose, Nutmeg, Green tree accord
3. Base Notes: Musk, Amber, Green tree accord

The reasons why CK One topped our list of Safe choice for perfumes is:

To whom can I gift this?
1. It's a unisex perfume. You can gift it to your girlfriend/boyfriend or both ;-)
2. If you are brand conscious, then be kool. CK is definitely a great brand.

Back to business. How is the fragrance, boss?
3. It's not suffocating or overpowering like many other expensive perfumes (Ah, how people pay bucks to get suffocated too) CK One has a peculiar "fresh" smell to it. Even when you return home tired, you would smell "fresh".

For the same reason, it's a very suitable perfume which can be worn to office or college. These are the places where you wanna be a head-turner, but not attract angry stares (We are sure you all have experienced a colleague/friend wearing a perfume so strong that it gave you a headache.)

How is the Packaging? After all, I came here for Gift ideas
4. Packaging is neat, and again Fresh. It's definitely not over the top.

Any Age Bar?
5. It has comparatively young vibes. So, we recommend this as a gift for people between the age group of 15 to 35. But then, rules are made to be broken. So, you can gift it to a person who exudes youth.

I don't wanna sound cheap. But I care for my money!
6. A 50 ml bottle would come around $17 -$20 and 100 ml would come around $30-$40. It comes expensive in stores except when schemes/discounts are running. Internet stores offer better pricing.

Tell me now! Are their any cons?
Perhaps, the only disadvantage comes from its advantage only. Since it's not overpowering, you can't expect it to leave trails behind. Lol. Jokes apart, it's a soft and mild perfume. You might need to reapply after 5-6 hours if you wish so.

So, go ahead and buy this perfume. It can make a great gift for
1. Your friends
2. Your girlfriend/boyfriend
3. Your spouse (we are sure you are gonna love this gift when he/she puts it on)
4. Your younger brother/sister. It's a great perfume to introduce them to the world of perfumes.

Boys will be Boys!

Your husband's birthday is coming up, and you're clueless what to buy for him!
Tada, here is a gift idea. If your hubby darling is a Gaming fanatic (which almost 99.9% percent men are.. and the remaining .01% rare species has disappeared and gone to Mars), then how about gifting him about a gaming CD !

1. If you have a computer desktop/laptop at home, then PC Games is an easy choice. You can get plenty of them available at a store nearby or http://www.ebay.com/ etc
2. If he has a gaming console (Like XBox or PlayStation), then you can gift him the associated Gaming CD. They are available in nearby stores , http://www.ebay.com/ , etc. Check out some games here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/
http://in.playstation.com/ps2/games/index.html
http://www.us.playstation.com/

As a suggestion, FIFA is a polished and captivating game. The tournaments always keep the game exciting. Both XBox and Play station have superb graphics.

And guess what, slightly older versions of game can come really cheap(for example a 2008 version would cost much cheaper in 2009).

Your First Lady (Mother's Day Special)

As we grow, we want our mother for every little thing. We depend on her. We want her to be there all the time.

When you are an infant you scream for her attention with your tiny cries...Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Then, words take their place.

Mom, where are my socks! Mom, where is my watch?
Mom, would you make dinner for 2 more people... ma friends are coming over for combined studies.
No Mama, Jess is not my boyfriend,com'on... ok, yea. So you like him?
Mom, we'll arrange pink roses on my wedding reception's day. She likes pink roses better.
Mum, loom at your grandchild.... He looks just like her mother....

But gradually, we stop calling out to her. The frequeny of our calls decreases. It's not that we are bad-bad-kids. It's just that we get busy coping up with life.

And though we believe everyday is a Mother's day, we urge you to take a step this 10th May. Make 'Your First Lady' feel special. Here, are some ideas:

(If you live in the same city)
1. Mom's love it when their Children spend some exclusive time with them. Take her out to a nice restaurant. Treat her like a 'Lady'.
2. No matter how practical Moms are, they are just like any other women: Gift her a bouquet of flowers she love.
3. Take her out to places you hang out: Show her your Office, introduce her to your colleagues, friends... She's gonna love it.
4. Bake a cake for her. Com'on you can do that. Ok... fine... atleast buy the prettiest one from the best Bakery shop in your town.

(If you're somewhere else)
5. Send her Handmade greeting card. (Psst.....If you are just like us, and can't draw a line straight, then buy a greeting at a nearby store or online.)
6. Send her a Makeup Kit (If you're a guy and have no clue about Makeup, take your girlfriend's or female friend's help)
7. Send her a lovely Cardigan.
8. Send her a beautiful Handbag...
9. Buy her a beautiful Pearl Set.
10. If she doesn't has it yet, send her a mobile/cell phone so that you two can be in contact anytime.

And if by luck you're having a tight pocket right now, don't dispair. Mother's eye is just searching for true feelings
11. Take her out to a beach nearby... where you talk your hearts out. Have ice-creams and play like you used to when you were a kid.
12. Make a Video with the scanned photographs of you and her. Do add some suitable background music/song.

We hope you found some ideas here. Or maybe some idea helped you generate a newer one. It's a chain process. Whether you are a Mother or her child, tell us how your Mother's day turned out to be.
